From M6
- Leave motorway at junction 10A, following M54 to Shrewsbury.
- The road becomes A5. Continue along A5, bypassing Shrewsbury.
- After many roundabouts, you will come to one with a turn off for A458 to Welshpool.
- Follow this road, through Welshpool. Continue A458 until you come to the end.
- Turn left on A470 towards Machynlleth.
- After a few miles you will come to a roundabout.
- Take A489 to Machynlleth.
- Follow the road into the town. At the end of the road, turn right on A487.
- Follow the road for half mile, over a bridge, then turn left to Aberdovey ( Aberdyfi). Stay on this road for 10 miles and it will take you into the village.
- We are directly opposite the sailing club on the East end of the beach.

If you do not fancy the motorway, We have found travelling cross country via Ludlow, Craven Arms & Newtown, is just as quick, with no traffic, very scenic and fewer miles.
